Medora Belgium invites you to their benefit day on Sunday, september 14, 2025 at the Oude Gevangenis campus UHasselt.
It promises to be another fascinating day, in the presence and of the Nepalese Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Sewa Lamsal  and representatives of Nepali organizations in Belgium.

 

Program
09:30–10:00: Welcome
10:00–11:30: Expedition to success – lecture by Wim Smets (spoken in Dutch)
11:30–12:00: Presentation of Medora Belgium and Nepal
12:00–13:30: Reception with appetizers
13:30–17:00: Nepal Café with public sale of beautiful artworks under the supervision of notary Dirk Seresia

17:00: End of event

During the program, there will also be performances featuring Nepalese music and dance.

Wim Smets is a high-altitude mountaineer and currently holds the Belgian record for climbing mountains over 8,000 meters. In total, he has reached the summit of a +8,000-meter peak five times. He is also the third Belgian to have completed the Seven Summits (the highest mountain on each continent).
Aside from mountaineering, Wim is a freelance transformation executive, reorganizing IT departments and leading complex IT transformations.
He draws on his experience as both a top-level climber and executive to deliver keynotes on how to build resilience and agility in yourself and your organization.
